A Few of My Favorite Things…{15}
Hello Everyone! I’m joining up today with Laura from The Ironstone Nest to present a list of a few of my favorite things. What a great idea! I’ve already learned about a few interesting products that I’d like to try from reading other people’s lists on the link party. Plus, I’m coming to realize that I am just essentially nosy, and I enjoy seeing what everyone else is interested in. I think the idea was initially to fill a virtual “goody bag”. Some of these things on my list are a bit intangible. Or at least unobtainable. But they still make my heart sing. And some of them you can get right in the grocery store! So here goes. . .
MY CAMERA
Having the camera allows me to take all kinds of interesting of interesting pictures. Mr. Social Media actually took this one because I wasn’t home. The second thing on my list is all of the Wild Kingdom moments I get to witness in my back yard.
we aren't sure if she laid eggs while she was here or not. two years ago we had a whole bunch of babies crawl up out of the ground about 110 days after she visited!
This creature is a bit more tame but has just as much life in her. This is my daughter’s most prized possession. And one of my most favorite things, too.
I love all things bee. And all things b. Did you know that about me?
Mr. Social Media and I don’t agree on everything, but we do agree that this is the best soap ever. Why do I have so many bars? We buy it by the case!
From lemon soap to lemonade! Lemonade has too much sugar (for me) to be drinking all the time but I always treat myself to some a couple of times during the summer. Newman’s Own is very good.
But as it turns out, MY own lemonade is even better! Expect a post on making lemonade very soon! SO. GOOD.
Now for one of my very most favorite things in the whole world! Everyone loves these.
Exciting packages in the mail. . .
This package arrived in my mailbox yesterday and it contained. . . . well, I’ll show you very soon. It’s something I ordered from my new blogging friend, Jill, at Sew a Fine Seam. She’ll be stocking them in her Etsy shop soon. You will want one. Trust me.
This post has been so much fun! Thanks for hosting the party, Laura. If you are a fellow blogger, stop on by The Ironstone Nest’s – Favorite Things Link Party and post a few of your favorite things. Even if you’re not a blogger – I’d love to hear what would be on your list!

“Mmmm, lemon verbena!”
- Laura Ingalls, in response to the present from Mr. Edwards (one of several lemon verbena gifts from him, if I recall)

i knew you would come through! i was checking to see if you were reading. . .

I love Mrs. Meyers Lemon Verbena….of course, I also love the lavender. As for your quote, is it a “pie related?”
Jun 12, 2012 @ 18:18:47
It’s Little House on the Prairie related. . .
And how could anyone NOT love Mrs. Meyers? Truthfully though, I’m allergic to just about everything that is scented. . . but not Lemon Verbena! Usually things that are citrus or mint are fine – almost everything else kills me.

Aw!! You mentioned me in this post! How sweet of you! I have GOT to get busy on stuff for my shop opening – it’s coming along:) Last couple of days have been hard – we had to get a kitty put to sleep. I’m exhausted. Physically and emotionally. I need a nap. Followed by a glass of wine!
The bunny looks like he stepped out of ‘The Velveteen Rabbit’ He is REAL! And I love Mrs. Myers soap too. Haven’t had any for awhile – gonna have to get it on my list.

Ahem. That bunny is a “she” bunny. Can’t you tell? I think she does look almost REAL. Love her.

So sorry – I was just quoting from the book! Yes the bunny definitely looks like a she!!!! LOL!

Lemonade! Summer! Not much better, especially if you make it yourself (and add a little something else, like something that might begin with a V and end with odka)
Jun 13, 2012 @ 14:09:48
I may just have to try that!
Jun 13, 2012 @ 14:36:02
