”And I want that. I want to be shared and featured and even invited to guest blog.”
So, there it is. The line from my second ever blog post stating what I want. Earlier this week I was so excited to tell you that I had been asked to do a guest post on another blogger’s site and here I am just two days later with even more thrilling news.

Jami from Freckled Laundry says, “I have always loved sketching, painting, photography, crafts, tinkering, sewing, and making things and spaces prettier than they were before I found them.”
Take a minute or two to check out her blog – Jami is even in the process of designing her own textile line. I am very excited to brush up on my sewing skills in time to try out some of the beautiful cotton fabrics she is designing. My vintage Singer is back from the shop and ready for threading (as soon as I get someone to show me how to thread it). From the tiny samples Jami has shown, the colors and styles will be right up my alley. I can’t wait!

The other day, my ASCP stockist, Cathy told me to, “tell the Universe what I want.” I’m starting to think that that is very good advice! What are you dreaming of? What are you trying to make happen? I’ve got more plans and dreams – and I’m working up the courage to try and make those happen too. . . I’d love to hear about what your’re working on. Tell me about it!

My dream is to eventually become so successful with dyeing my fiber that I have to quit my full time job to be able to run my small business. That would be a dream come true…to be my own boss.

How cool. I’ve been featured a couple times by Jami too! Love it! I want to be asked to guest post sometime too. and hey! I just had this thought – since I got my idea for ‘one who sews’ from you maybe you should do a guest post for me when I unveil that biz card!!??
