I’m a Haven Maven!{8}
Hello, all! It’s been a few days since I’ve been here to talk to you. I’m down here in Atlanta, Georgia at the Haven Conference. I’m having an amazing time! Besides getting to attend the sessions that were so carefully planned out by the conference organizers, I’m meeting a truly fantastic group of women. Even though each of our blogs tend have a slightly different focus, we all share this common blogging bond. . . It’s amazing to find all of these people in one place – each bringing their own piece of fabric- and contributing it to the crazy quilt that is the blog world. I am so happy that I was able to make this trip – and there is still another whole day to go!
Now. While I have not (as so many of my more prepared sisters have) planned posts to go up while I am away from home for this trip, you can indeed see me TODAY over at The Ironstone Nest! I was so happy to be able to do a guest post for Laura. I just now read the announcement of the birth of her baby boy. All are doing well. Congratulations to Laura and to the whole family! I wish them all the luck (and sleep!) in the world.
If you’re coming over from The Ironstone Nest, WELCOME! You’ll find me here, most days, talking about the projects that I’ve worked on. I hope you’ll like what you see and read! I would love it if you would decide you join me here on a semi-regular basis. . . you know, follow me and whatnot. You’ll find a way to do that in my side bar as well a list of archives. Poke around! Make yourselves at home! If you’d like to get an idea of what I’m all about you might like to check out this post or this post or this post or this one (which is a favorite of mine).
Thank you so much for stopping by. I really appreciate it. And a very big thank you goes out to Laura at The Ironstone Nest! Click on over there to see one of my latest creations!

Hi Bonnie – we live in Bevier House – it’s the name of the judge that built the place around 1850. It’s one of the French Huguenot names that are very common in my town (and surrounding towns).
Thank you SO much for stopping by and taking the time to leave me a comment!
