So yesterday I drove from New York to Virginia. It was a long drive. I wish that I could say that it was a pretty drive. . . but it really wasn’t. Before I leave I’m going to check and see if there is a scenic route to take on my return. It seemed like all of the roads I was on today were called 95. There was 95, 295, 495. . . there were probably more but I might have gotten distracted by the beautiful scenery. . .oh, wait. . .
Honestly though, a pretty car ride wasn’t the goal here. I made it! I’m here in Leesburg, Virginia – the home of the Old Lucketts Store. Tomorrow is the first day of the Lucketts Spring Market and I get to spend the whole weekend there, soaking it all in, taking pictures, making mental notes, and telling you all about it! If you’ve come over from Miss Mustard Seed, WELCOME! I’m so happy to meet you.
Besides hunting some things for myself, I’m also hunting some things for you! Who knows what I’ll find? When I return I’ll be setting up some giveaways – make sure you are subscribed to breida with a b. via email so that you’ll know when it all happens. You can also like the Facebook page. I just had Mr. Social Media set that up on the sidebar (it’s kind of ugly-but it makes it easy for you to like the FB page. . .)
Okay-It’s very late! I need to get to bed. Please come back again this evening to hear about my first day at the Market. Oh, right. I’m also going to meet MARIAN PARSONS aka Miss Mustard Seed! You don’t know me that well (yet) but I’m really not the kind of person who gushes. . . but oh, who cares! I’m so EXCITED TO MEET MARIAN!!! YAY!! Do you think she would like it if I brought her a bag of Raisinets and a Diet Dr. Pepper??
okay. i’m done.
Tell me, if you were here, what would you be looking for? Remember, I’m bringing back presents!!
