Well, it’s official. I’m making a road trip! I just got off the phone with the reservations desk for a hotel in Leesburg, Virginia where I plan to visit The Old Lucketts Store for their annual Spring Market! I’m so excited. This is a two day event showcasing some of my favorite antiques dealers and some highly noted bloggers as well!
From the Lucketts website:
The Lucketts Store Spring Market is a true extravaganza! Seasoned antique dealers & people who just have too much cool stuff, will fill the Lucketts Store grounds May 19th and 20th for our Spring Market. It’s our biggest event of the year with great bands, yummy food, and always perfect weather! *fingers crossed* The Market will be on the 15 acres surrounding the Lucketts Store and Design House. In true Lucketts-style it’s gonna be better than ever!
I can’t wait. This trip will be a birthday present for myself as I will have to leave on my birthday in order to be there bright and early on the morning of the 19th.
Happy Birthday to Me!!
Here’s a little something that came in the mail today – just a little something I found on ebay. I am so enamored of this red cross symbol right now – not sure why it speaks to me so. I saw one just like this in an antiques store a couple of months ago and regretted not getting it then. I found it on ebay for exactly $5 less. . . but had to pay exacty $5 shipping. Ah well, I love it and I’m glad it’s mine!
I’ll be hunting more vintage Red Cross images at the Lucketts Market among other things.
Do you ever make purchases on ebay? How about Etsy? Craigslist? Leave a comment and tell me, what’s been your favorite find so far!
